What this is

Wish busterZ is a show about granting small computer wishes. Someone says the thing they wish their machine did — the recurring five-minute annoyance, the file they rename by hand every week — and we build it, live, with an AI agent. Then the prompt goes on this site so anyone can run it.

It's entertainment first. Watching someone build something is fun, and it's more fun when it occasionally goes wrong on camera. If you learn something, good — but nobody is here to turn you into a developer, and the show doesn't pretend otherwise.

What it isn't

• Not a course. There's no syllabus, no order to do things in, and no certificate at the end.
• Not "build software with AI from nothing". Nearly everything here starts from something that already works and bends it. That's the easy half of the problem, on purpose.
• Not a product. Nothing is for sale on this site, and nothing here is advice about your particular setup.

How it works

• You send a wish. Small and specific beats big and vague.
• We build it live — including the bits that don't work first go.
• The prompt lands on Projects, with what you need before you start and what it actually does.
• You run it yourself, change it, or ignore it. It's your machine.

Being straight about it

An AI agent can change real files on a real computer, so the show says the caveat out loud rather than editing it out: what a prompt touches, what it can't undo, and where it cost money. Anything that runs on your machine is your call to make — check what a prompt does before you run it, the same as you would with anything else off the internet.

Some things on the show cost money to run: a paid AI subscription, usually. Where that's true, it gets said on the project page rather than discovered later.

Everything here is published as-is. We don't warrant that a prompt will work on your setup or that it won't cause you a problem — you're the one running it, on your machine, and that call is yours. Nothing in that sentence takes away the rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, which can't be excluded.

The name, and the mark

Wish busterZ is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any film, studio or franchise. It's a pun about wishes, and any resemblance to a movie title is the pun doing its job.

The mark is a WZ monogram. Four strokes: the orange one belongs to the W, and the three green ones are a Z lying on its side — turn it ninety degrees either way and you can read it. Every variant is on the brand kit page.
