Privacy

The short version: this is a plain website. There are no accounts, no forms, no newsletter and no cookies set by us. If you never email us, we never learn anything about you beyond what any web server sees when it hands over a page.

What we collect

Nothing you type — there is nowhere on this site to type anything except the search box, and that runs entirely inside your browser. The search index is a file your browser downloads; your search words are never sent anywhere.

No cookies from us. The one thing stored in your browser is your dark/light preference, kept in local storage on your own device. It never leaves it, and clearing your browser data removes it.

What the host sees

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like every web host, it processes the technical details of a request — IP address, browser type, which page, when — to deliver the page and to protect against attacks and abuse. That processing is Cloudflare's, under their privacy policy. We don't get a copy of it and we don't use it to build a profile of you.

Analytics

None, currently. No analytics, no tag manager, no tracking pixels, no third-party scripts of any kind. If that changes, it will load behind a consent banner and this page will say so on the day it happens, not afterwards.

Email

If you email contact@wishbusterz.com we have your email and whatever you wrote, which is unavoidable — that's how email works. We keep it while it's useful for replying to you and for running the show, and we don't sell it, rent it or add it to a mailing list. Mail is hosted with Google Workspace.

If you send us a wish and it becomes a project, we'll describe the wish — not who sent it — unless you've said you're happy to be named.

Other people's sites

Links out to Twitch, YouTube and GitHub are ordinary links. Nothing from those services is embedded in these pages, so they learn nothing about you until you click. Once you're there, you're on their terms and their privacy policy.

Your rights

Australian privacy law gives you the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct it, and to ask us to delete it. In practice the only thing we're likely to hold is an email you sent us. Write to contact@wishbusterz.com and we'll deal with it.

If you're unhappy with how we handle that, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
