Prompt
The instructions you give an AI, in ordinary written English.
Agent
An AI that can actually do things on your computer, not just talk about them.
Context
Everything the AI can see at the moment it answers you.
Model
The trained system doing the thinking — the engine behind the chat window.
Token
The chunk of text an AI reads and bills by — roughly three-quarters of a word.
Repository (repo)
A project folder that remembers every version of itself.
Fork
Your own copy of somebody else’s project, yours to change.
Licence
The rules the person who made something set for what you may do with it.
Terminal
The text window where you type commands to your computer directly.
Script
A short saved list of steps your computer can run on demand.
Undo
A way back to how things were before the change.
Hallucination
When an AI states something confidently and it simply is not true.
